OTPdirekt via SMS

With your mobile phone you can request and receive bank-related information via SMS messages.

  • You can ask to be sent an automatic message informing you about your current balance each banking day.
  • You can ask to be sent an automatic message informing you about online transaction related to your account performed with a bankcard.
  • You can ask to be sent an automatic message informing you about the creditings and debitings of your current account.
  • You can inquire about your account balance, or about transfers that have been effected to or from your account at any point during the last 30 days.
  • You can inquire about the current purchase and ATM limit on your card or even change it.
  • You can ask for banking FX and cash rates, Investment funds units or stock-exchange information to be sent to your mobile phone at any time.

Card control

OTP Bank's IT system prepares a message about each online transaction related to your account performed with a bankcard, and within a short period of time sends the message to your mobile phone.

You can select the bankcard transaction types that you want to receive notification about. You can choose to receive notification regarding only cash withdrawals from ATMs, or only about puchases and cash withdrawals through POS-terminals, but naturally, you may also choose to receive notification regarding both types of transaction.

Account control

With this function you can receive SMS notifications concerning credit and debit transactions related to your account, and regarding transactions not executed for any reasons (lack of coverage, faulty order, order given an offline period) In the case of credit and debit transactions you can provide a notification limit request for a minimum transaction amount. Regarding transactions under this specified amount no messages will be sent.

You may also choose to receive notification regarding all types of transactions mentioned above.

How can you apply?

The service is available for customers who have already signed an OTPdirekt
service agreement. They can apply for the service:

  • At any branch office, when signing an OTPdirekt service agreement, or
  • by providing a verbal instruction to a customer representative of the OTPdirekt telephone service after having signed an OTPdirekt service agreement, or
  • via internetbank
