In recent years, artificial intelligence has become one of the most important topics in the technology sector. While much of the attention is focused on model developers and companies providing infrastructure, the long-term winners in this technology may also emerge on the application side. The interactive media segment is particularly interesting from this perspective, as the business models of companies operating in this field rely heavily on monetizing user attention and producing digital content. In the second part of our industry analysis series, we review current trends and potential catalysts affecting search engines and social media platforms.
European stock markets are currently outperforming their U.S. counterparts, and thanks to the gains of the past few days, our screenings have identified a number of interesting stocks. Among these, we have highlighted stocks that have recently shown signs of a structural turnaround, while strengthening buying pressure is also supporting the positive technical picture. One such company is Germany’s Nemetschek, a leading provider of construction and architectural design software. The other is the Dutch firm Wolters Kluwer, which offers professional information, software, and specialized database solutions. For both stocks, the search for long entry opportunities may have begun.
The outbreak of the Iranian conflict has put pressure on capital markets, although we have not yet seen significant declines in the leading indices. The domestic stock exchange opened with a stronger decline yesterday, but recovered most of its losses during the day. Nevertheless, long closing signals for the index arrived more than three weeks ago. The correction has continued since then, and there is no end in sight for the time being. MOL: After testing the 3,438 level, a slight turnaround can be seen, but this movement is not expected to lead to a new peak for the time being. Richter: The 11,875 zone continues to be a significant resistance level. Magyar Telekom: The high dividend effect pushed the price up to 2,250, but it is still well above the trend, and there are no signs of a reversal yet. AutoWallis: It broke through the 162.5 support level, so the price should now hold at the 150 level. Rába: The shares have been moving in a consolidation range since November last year, which could lay the foundation for a trend-reinforcing pattern to develop.
Since the turnaround, a correction phase has been visible. Yesterday's dip fell between 118,750 and 121,875, where there was strong support. Nevertheless, an increase is not necessarily to be expected. Yesterday's low could easily be retested. Above, the trend line is falling, slowly running around 128,125, where the index may encounter stronger resistance.
Resistance levels: 128,125; 131,250; 134,375.
Support levels: 118,750; 112,500; 106,250; 100,000.
The stock price reached an important correction level at 3,438, from which yesterday's strong turnaround came. The resistance level is around 3,906, which was the breakout level of the upward trend. Really strong support can only be found lower down, around 3,125. A slight rise towards the previous peak is possible, but a new peak is not necessarily expected from this pattern.
Resistance levels: 3,906; 4,062; 4,218.
Support levels: 3,438; 3,125; 2,890; 2,812; 2,656; 2,500.
Although it managed to rise above 11,875 for a day, it was unable to maintain this level. We are still waiting for a long closing signal, which should open up space before a correction. It is better to look for new long positions only after a pullback. The next significant support is in the 10,625 zone.
Resistance levels: 11,875; 12,188; 12,500.
Support levels: 10,625; 10,313; 10,000; 9,688; 9,065; 8,750.
The dividend caused the price to jump significantly, breaking out of a correction within the upward trend. It reversed at 2,250, but this is not enough to signal a trend reversal. A lower peak or a break in the trend line could bring about a change. There is already strong support around 2,000 due to the upward trend.
Resistance levels: 2,062; 2,125.
Support levels: 1,875; 1,750; 1,688; 1,625; 1,563; 1,500.
After a significant rise earlier, it has been moving in a consolidation phase for weeks. It broke the short downward trend line yesterday and became slightly overbought, but the pattern that has been forming since last November may correspond to a trend reinforcement. If it breaks above 4,380, it could go up at least two bands, which would put the minimum target price around 5,625. If it falls below 3,750, that could be a bad sign, in which case it could look down to around 3,125 on the main upward trend line.
Resistance levels: 5,000; 5,625.
Support levels: 3,125; 2,500.
It broke through the 162.5 support level, so now the price should hold at the 150 level. This could lead to range trading, but the 150 level must hold, otherwise the entire upward structure could change.
Resistance levels: 175; 187.5; 200.
Support levels: 150; 137.5.
