In recent years, artificial intelligence has become one of the most important topics in the technology sector. While much of the attention is focused on model developers and companies providing infrastructure, the long-term winners in this technology may also emerge on the application side. The interactive media segment is particularly interesting from this perspective, as the business models of companies operating in this field rely heavily on monetizing user attention and producing digital content. In the second part of our industry analysis series, we review current trends and potential catalysts affecting search engines and social media platforms.
European stock markets are currently outperforming their U.S. counterparts, and thanks to the gains of the past few days, our screenings have identified a number of interesting stocks. Among these, we have highlighted stocks that have recently shown signs of a structural turnaround, while strengthening buying pressure is also supporting the positive technical picture. One such company is Germany’s Nemetschek, a leading provider of construction and architectural design software. The other is the Dutch firm Wolters Kluwer, which offers professional information, software, and specialized database solutions. For both stocks, the search for long entry opportunities may have begun.
The rise that began in recent days continues to show a healthy picture above the already upward trend, so there is still room for further strengthening. A more serious correction can be expected after the trend breaks, but this is unlikely to happen in the coming days. MOL: The share price has risen to a five-year high, which could signal a change in trend and open up significant upside potential. Richter: It has reached its first minor resistance level, but there is still room for movement. Its relative strength will be determined at around the 10,625 level. Magyar Telekom: The rise that started last week continues, and there is room for further gains for the time being; the 1,938 level could be a realistic target. Opus: Strong buying demand has once again pushed the market towards long positions. If it breaks above 578, the 650 level could also be an achievable target. Waberer’s: After the correction phase, there is a chance of an upturn, but a decisive buying candle is still needed for confirmation.
Last week, the curve managed to break above the upward trend. For now, the last few days seem to confirm the trend. The next stronger level could be around 118,750. The upward trend is running at the 112,500 level, so we still have to wait for a short signal.
Resistance levels: 118,750; 121,875.
Support levels: 112 500; 106,250; 100,000; 93,750; 90,625; 87,500.
The curve has recently reached a five-year high. The target for the rise that began two weeks ago was around 3,125, but since this peak has also been broken, the current situation may be seen in a completely different light. Since it broke out of a very long-term range, if 3,125 does not fall or break down, a range change may occur for the stock. This means that the rise could target 3,438, 3,592, and even the previous peak of 3,750.
Resistance levels: 3,438; 3,625; 3,750.
Support levels: 3,125; 2,890; 2,812; 2,656; 2,500.
After Christmas, the rise on December 29 broke the previous downward trend and opened up space for a minor upward movement. The first resistance level was reached at 10,310, but there is potential for further gains. The 10,000 level is now functioning as support.
Resistance levels: 10,625; 10,940; 11,250.
Support levels: 9,690; 9,375; 9,065; 8,750.
The rise has continued since the break in the trend, allowing the price to take advantage of the upward movement. For now, the first realistic target price was 1,875, but the curve is neither overextended nor overbought, so the long wave may continue along the thin green upward trend line. The next resistance is expected at 1,938, where, however, the stock may become overbought. A close below 1,812 would be a bad sign.
Resistance levels: 1,875; 1,938; 2,000; 2,062; 2,125.
Support levels: 1,688; 1,625; 1,563; 1,500.
The stock quickly recovered from its late November slump, which was a favorable sign for the long position. The chance for the long wave to reach its full potential remained. Closing above 578 could form a strong upward pattern, which could result in a calculated level of around 650.
Resistance levels: 592; 621; 650.
Support levels: 531; 500.
It is very narrow, even though it should have broken out upwards last week, but that was not successful. Closing above 5,480 may be enough to start a long wave. However, breaking the ideal trend, i.e. closing below 5,320, would be a failure and could lead to another decline.
Resistance levels: 5,940; 6,250.
Support levels: 5,000; 4,690.
