Overdraft facilities
Do you ever spend more than your account "allows"? Do you sometimes need to borrow relatively large amounts to tide you over? We recommend our popular overdraft facility.
- It carries a relatively low rate of interest, and is conveniently secured with your salary transfers or your time deposit.
- When you open an account, you automatically become eligible to apply for credit, and, after the credit line has been approved, your overdraft limit is automatically adjusted - in line with your credit rating - at regular intervals by the Bank without your being charged a credit appraisal fee.
- It can be used at will, as following the conculsion of the overdraft agreement, you can use the credit limit without having to make any additional requests or loan applications, regardless of whether you are making a purchase, withdrawing cash with your card, or making a transfer from your account.
- It can be repaid simply and conveniently, since the overdraft is "replenished" automatically from the transfers arriving into your Retail Current Account.
- It is a form of revolving credit, which means that the amount of the credit line that is repaid can be used again and again within the validity period of the overdraft.

Smart Account Package
Customizable offer for those who want to manage all financial tasks online (internet and mobile bank) and wants to forget the branches. Smart Account Package contains:

- a free-of-charge OTPdirekt service (internet bank),
- new internet and mobile bank,
- min. 2 or up to 5 free savings accounts (free-of-charge account management),
- free foreign currency account in EUR,

Junior Account Package (14-24 years)

How to open?
Who can open a forint account and how?
Any private individual over the age of 18 can open a retail current account (between 14-18 years a parent or a legal guardian is must).
Opening an account is free of charge, and there is no initial deposit required.
Foreigners wishing to open a retail current account will need to present a valid passport or travel document.
